CompTIA—one of the world’s leading associations representing the international technology community—has developed several specialized certifications that assure employers that prospective IT employees have solid foundation skills in PC maintenance, networking technology or security. CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certification (train the trainer) is for instructors who want to verify they have attained a standard of excellence in the training field. CompTIA CTT+ (training of trainers) is an international, vendor-neutral certification that covers core instructor skills, including preparation, presentation, communication, facilitation and evaluation in both a traditional and virtual classroom environment.
Two exams are necessary to be certified: CompTIA CTT+ Essentials, and at least one of the two designations: Classroom Trainer or Virtual Classroom Trainer. Candidates will need to supply a video or recording of their classroom or virtual classroom sessions. Certification exams are administered by third-party testing companies such as Pearson Vue or Prometric. Our courses prepare you for the certification exam, which is an additional fee paid to the testing provider. You must contact Prometric, Pearson Vue or the corresponding testing provider to take a certification exam.
